Leadership Development

Members have opportunities to engage in experiences that build essential skills, such as confidence, consensus and team building, event planning, conflict resolution and parliamentary procedure.

Every Member has a leadership role to serve each year. Each class of Ticktockers learns to manage their own meetings and activities with the support of their Grade Level Advisors. By the end of the six-year program most classes are operating with great independence thanks to the lessons they have learned.

Patronesses are expected to take on leadership roles as well. Annual positions vary widely in scope, creating opportunities to learn and grow that fit within your personal schedule.

National Charity League, Inc. offers District, Region and National leadership positions for both Patronesses and Ticktockers, as well as continued opportunities for involvement after completion of the program.
